Read Ephesians 2:8-10. What does this passage say bout grace? Why is this so foundational to our faith?  

 Read 1 Peter 1:13-14. What makes our minds battlefields, as Matt said? What does it mean to be fully sober and alert? Read verse 13 in the esv version. What is the solution? See 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.  

 Read 1 Peter 1:13-14 and Hebrews 4:16. What are we told to set our hope on? Define grace. How have you personally experienced God’s ongoing grace in your life?  

 Read 1 Peter 1:15-16. What does holy mean? What does it mean for us to be holy? In what areas of your life have you grown in holiness?  

What does it mean not to conform? What area of your life was hard to let go of once you became a Christian?
