The Making Space Initiative
Our desire is to make space in our hearts and space in our house to reach even more people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Phase 1: Congregational Vote
Phase 2: Raise the funds
Phase 3: Construct the office building
Phase 4: Raise remaining funds needed
Phase 5: Expand the Auditorium
Four years ago, as a church, we voted and decided it was time to expand the New Hope Church campus. We envisioned building a gymnasium and classroom facility. We then began the planning process. However, as we pursued this endeavor, we encountered numerous roadblocks. We began to rethink the project and pray. Through many building committee meetings and board meetings, we recognized the Lord was changing our direction. This led us to a clearer vision and plan.
We are excited to announce The Making Space Initiative. We desire for New Hope church to make space in our hearts and space in His house to reach even more people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Over the past three years, we have grown at a rate of 15% annually, which has been a blessing. We have seen numerous lives transformed through the Gospel, and our church has provided a safe and friendly environment for people to encounter Jesus and grow in their faith. Growth has continued, and we will soon be facing space problems. Our biggest need is on Sunday mornings, when we have 400-475 people attending the services. We also need additional classroom space on Sunday mornings and during Adventure Club, our Wednesday night children’s ministry.
As the Lord has changed our direction, we recognize we need to focus on making room in our auditorium and increasing our classroom space to accommodate our current needs and plan for continued growth to reach more people for Christ.
Phases for Expansion
Phase one starts now, with sharing the vision and details of the Making Space Initiative to the congregation and will be completed with a vote on this initiative at the upcoming congregational meeting on August 24, 2025.
With a vote of confidence, Phase Two will raise enough funds to complete Phase 3 to build the new office building of the total cost of the project. We are estimating the project to cost around $1,000,000 - $1.5 million. Thanks to the generosity of our congregation, we already have approximately $500,000 saved and ready to use for this project. We are already at least 33% of the way there, depending on the final cost of the project. Once we have funded 65% of the total cost of the project, we will begin Phase Three.
We will begin with the construction of the office buildings. See plans below.

Raise the remaining funds needed to begin the auditorum expansion.
