Read 2 Peter 3:1-2. What was Peter’s purpose in writing his letters to the church? What did you learn the most about in this series as we studied Peter’s letters to the church?  

Read 2 Peter 3:3-7. What things about God do scoffers deliberately omit? How could this negatively affect someone’s faith? Why is it important to know and trust God’s word?   

Read 2 Peter 3:8-10. What reason for not stressing does Peter give us in verses 8-10? How do we know the day of the Lord is approaching?  

2 Peter 3:11-18. How should we live in light of the coming day of the lord? Which of these four things do you need to focus on the most?
